Mr. Ajay Narayan Sharma

Managing Director

Mr. Sharma has extensive experience in the field of healthcare, laboratory and research. After completing his master’s degree in biotechnology from HNB Garhwal university in 2011, he joined Panas Pharmaceuticals, Nepalgunj as quality control officer where he learned in detail about the pharmaceutical business and system. After that he moved to kathmandu and joined Center for Molecular Dynamics in 2012, where he worked as research associate and was promoted to assistant laboratory manager and later to laboratory manager. He did extensive research work in the various field, to name few: human, wildlife, public health, plants, conservation. He also led all the laboratory work as lab manager. In 2018 he also got an offer to work as production manager in a vaccine development company called – Biovac Nepal. There he developed the vaccine against Newcastle Disease (ND) in poultry. He left both the organizations’ and joined Nepal Mediciti hospital in 2020 where he started molecular biology department and various other molecular diagnostic tests on his own. Later in 2022 he was offered a role of operations manager at alfa healthcare and diagnostic center, where he gained experience of running the complete healthcare setting and day to day operations involved in a healthcare organization. Having with such a myriad experience in multidimensional field he teamed up with Dr. Avash and Dr. Prajwol to start and lead his own polyclinic with the aim of providing health services to the community at Maitidevi.

He is using his expertise and knowledge at M.G. Polyclinic to provide quality health services to the community.

Dr. Avash Jung Karki

Dr. Avash Karki, MBBS, MS, is a highly regarded medical professional hailing from Nepal, known for his contributions in the field of healthcare and medicine. With an extensive background in both medical education and practical experience, Dr. Karki has made significant strides in improving healthcare access and quality within Nepal and beyond.

Dr. Karki’s journey in medicine began with his pursuit of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, which he completed with distinction. Following this, he furthered his studies and specialization, earning a Master of Surgery (MS) degree, indicating his commitment to excellence in his chosen field. This academic foundation equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to embark on a fulfilling career dedicated to healing and healthcare provision.
One of Dr. Karki’s notable attributes is his unwavering dedication to serving underserved communities. He has actively participated in medical missions and outreach programs, often venturing into remote areas where healthcare resources are scarce. Through his efforts, he has helped deliver essential medical services to those in need, thereby making a tangible difference in improving health outcomes and quality of life.
Dr. Karki is working at Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center, Bansbari as a specialist in the field of cardiac surgery.

Dr. Prajwol Bhurtel

Medical Director

Dr. Bhurtel is a medical technologist, a passionate physician, a teacher and a pediatrician.
Aside from his clinical skills, he has a good experience in Hospital management. After completing his Master’s degree in public health from Philippines, he conducted several community health camps and projects from Lalitpur to Sarlahi.
He has managed a hospital and various clinics in Sarlahi district for past two years. Since August 2002, Dr. Bhurtel joined Grande City Hospital Pvt Ltd (NICU) and Alfa health care and diagnostics pvt Ltd as a consultant. From 2023, he joined the team of Dr. Avash Karki and Mr. Ajay to establish his own polyclinic at Maitidevi.
As a medical director, he has formed a team of intellectual and highly qualified doctors/specialists. With his expemlary communication skills and public relation, he has commited his time for the service of patients, providing them with the most accurate diagnosis as possible and subsequently treating the case.

Mr. Maharjan is a leader and a humanitarian at Maitidevi -30 who envisioned this clinic and made it a reality.

Er. Rajkishor Sah

Technical Director

Rajkishor Shah is a skilled biomedical engineer with a strong academic background and practical experience in his field. Having undergone comprehensive training, he adeptly navigates the intricacies of biomedical equipment across diverse settings, from governmental institutions to private laboratories and hospitals. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including calibration, validation, installation, and maintenance of various biomedical devices crucial for healthcare operations. One of Rajkishor’s notable qualifications is his certification as an Internal Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025, which reflects his commitment to ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory testing and calibration procedures. This certification underscores his meticulous approach to his work and his dedication to upholding industry standards.
Throughout his career, Rajkishor has accumulated extensive hands-on experience in managing and servicing a wide array of biomedical equipment. His proficiency extends to handling intricate technical machinery, ensuring their optimal functionality and reliability. This proficiency has been particularly evident in his role at MG Polyclinic, where he assumes responsibility for the maintenance and operation of all biomedical and technical machinery.
